Welcome To The Diet Critics

This subject (Diet) is one that is near and dear to me as I used to weigh in just over 260 pounds. I have heard people say "diets don't work", but I am here to tell you the diet plans listed here do work. I have enrolled in them all and in my own way used major parts of each of these diet plans to not only lose over 80 pounds but to also keep the weight off. I sincerely hope you find my insight into each of these popular diets useful and good luck to you all! I know how hard it is to lose weight but you CAN do it!

I not only want to help you choose a diet that is right for you but to also hear how you are doing. We all need some support when it comes to dieting. I think way too many people try to lose weight too fast. I have tried, and you may have also, numerous diets that do not work in the long run. The diets we have recommended here not only help you lose weight fast, but also train you to keep the weight off in the long term. Which is key to our overall success!

Planning and sticking to a diet are the main rules to your weight loss success. You and I both know these two golden rules are hard to start and hard to follow. We need help. Plain and simple. Now, whether it's a personal trainer that's "on your back" constantly, or a friend that has gone through it before or a diet plan that's pre-made like the plans we critique here, we, as over weight persons need help to start. We need a plan, a goal and the motivation to stick with it for life. It took me almost five years to finally muster the strength and willpower needed to healthily maintain my weight.

Our journey of dieting and weight loss doesn't have to be a lonely one. Don't hide the fact you're trying to lose weight from anyone. Don't feel ashamed to admit you're on the road to losing weight and living a healthy lifestyle. Be proud! State it to the world and everyone around you. It is something to be proud of and you're going to do it! Lean on your friends and family for support. Join in diet and health forums. Subscribe to a health magazine and eat some carrots while you're reading. Find that "thing" inside of you that wants to live healthier and cling to it. Remind yourself everyday of who you are and who you want to be and go do it.

I personally wish you all the best and hope that I helped you find a diet plan that is right for you. You obviously don't have to join them all like I did as each one of these will help you lose the weight, but at least choose one and stick with it. You will be forever happy that you did.
